Happy Haynes is an accomplished public servant and community leader with experience in various roles such as Executive Director at Denver Parks and Recreation, President of the Denver Board of Education, and City Council Member at Denver City Council District 11. Haynes has also actively served on multiple boards of organizations focused on public education, nature conservation, development, and more. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Barnard College, Columbia University in NYC, and a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Public Policy from the University of Colorado at Denver, Graduate School of Public Affairs, Haynes exercises her knowledge and expertise in public service, community engagement, and policy implementation.
Haynes continues to be actively involved in promoting community development and nature conservation in Colorado through her leadership role at the Colorado Advisory Board of the Trust for Public Land and involvement with KUVO/Rocky Mountain PBS, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Foundation for Education Excellence, and more.
