Delta Lloyd is one of the big financials in the Netherlands, operating in insurances and investments. The company prepared a stock market listing and needed publicity and public brand awareness. Delta Lloyd decided to participate in the world’s famous sailing regatta Volvo Ocean Race. My responsibilities in this campaign were:
- PR & Communication policy and execution with a focus on:

Maandag®  is an international staffing and recruiting company. Maandag®  is a new name for a company earlier known as Sargas. I was assigned to position the firm more appealing for employees. We decided to change the name, house style and image and developed a media campaign. This campaign was excellent received, and won every Dutch advertisement and marketing price. At Maandag® I was responsible for the day-to-day PR & Communication, Marketing, Events and Sponsoring.

- Initiate the new name (campaign, media planning, design house style).
- Internal and external communication (website/intranet/newsletters).
- Spokesman.
- Management recruitment sites, online marketing and SEO.
- Development of events formats.
- Develop of the companies sponsor policy.
- Loyalty programs to strengthen the community.

ABN AMRO bank N.V. participated in the Volvo Ocean Race 2005/06 with two sailing boats. The marketing team had three missions. Create international brand value, introduce the new slogan Making More Possible to the international audience and to connect the 100.000+ employees of ABN AMRO in its 3 home markets. Responsibilities:
- ROI in media value > 60 million Euro.
- Develop and execute the international media policy.
- Management of the media production team (image, text, website and video).
