Li Jin
Li Jin is a co-founder and general partner at Variant, an early-stage venture capital firm that invests in companies enabling individuals to make a living from their unique passions and audiences, also known as the passion economy. She previously founded and led Atelier Ventures and worked as a partner at Andreessen Horowitz. She has served as a board observer at Substack and Imgur. Jin studied statistics at Harvard University and earned an MBA from The Wharton School. Before pursuing a career in venture capital, she worked as a product manager at shopkick, a corporate strategy associate at Capital One, and a reporter for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Jin is particularly interested in companies that are re-imagining how consumers live and work and is always open to hearing from entrepreneurs working on big ideas.
