The Red Flag Campaign works to train students and anyone else interested how to be an active bystander for commonly faced situations such as sexual harassment or violence on a college campus. Educators are interviewed and then invited to join the team.Educators:•	Hosted trainings on Red Flag Campaign•	Attend a three-day training course•	Discussed controversial topics such as: date rape, slut shaming, victim blaming, rape culture, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and sexual harassment•	Work closely with students and staff to promote Red Flag Campaign•	Work to develop the campaign further•	Host events to raise awareness and create areas of support for victims or survivors

Red Flag Educator

- The North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault is an inclusive, statewide alliance working to end sexual violence through education, advocacy, and legislation." I served as a camp counselor for the 2013 Young Advocate Initiative hosted by NCCASA and Reaching Your Goals, Inc. The weekend serves to help educate 13-17 year olds about issues happening in our community and around the world. Most of the campers are referred to the camp and a handful are high risk kids. The weekend is made up of workshops covering different topics first educating the kids and then giving them tools to bring back to their community in hopes on working to spread awareness about topics that are often ignored. As a camp counselor, I worked with a group of twenty-seven 13 year olds and helped them learn about communicating with each other about dangers they face and how these things affect everyone around us.

Leadership Educators are trusted students on campus who are invited to business, organizations, clubs, classrooms, etc. to help inspire participants in whatever area they are requesting guidance on. Focus is on •	leadership styles •	time managements•	campus/community involvement•	team buildingEducators are interviewed and then selected for the team. Educators also plan a state-wide conference once a year - Appalachian Leadership Forum as a fundraiser and educational tool. They coordinate nearly 50 speakers as well as up to 300 participants.

Though it is unpaid, personal work ethics and experience comes from being an active volunteer in the ASU Women’s Center. I worked both on desk shift and with events. The Women’s Center is a branch of Multicultural Student Development.•	Have been trained and have helped trained others in crisis situations and daily functions•	Perform daily tasks such as answering phones, sending emails, and scheduling meetings•	Produced/Directed The Vagina Monologues: raised approximately $25,000 over four years•	Feminist Coming Out Day Committee: marketing, fundraising, awareness, education•	Abigail Adams, Scholarship Dinner: fundraising ~$800/year, awareness, education, publicity•	Worked closely with both the LGBT center and the Multicultural Center.
