Larry Cockrum
Larry Cockrum is an accomplished academic professional with extensive experience in higher education leadership. Currently, he serves as the Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of the Cumberlands, a private Christian university located in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Prior to his current role, Cockrum served as the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee, where he provided leadership and administrative oversight to the university's academic programs.
Throughout his career, Cockrum has spearheaded several successful academic initiatives, including the establishment of online programs and the creation of new academic departments. He is known for his ability to build strong relationships with faculty, staff, and students, and for his commitment to fostering a culture of academic excellence.
Cockrum holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English from the University of South Carolina, as well as a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in English Education from Tennessee Technological University.
