Rutledge Ellis-Behnke, a pioneering scientist and inventor, is best known as the inventing co-founder and scientific advisor of Arch Therapeutics, Inc. His breakthrough discovery of immediate hemostasis technology at MIT became the foundation of his company's innovation. He holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and is a master of nanotechnology when it comes to tissue repair. His patented solutions range from immuno-oncology therapies, stem cell preservation, and blindness reversal. Having held various executive positions, he also co-founded and served as CEO of MemTel Corporation, one of the pioneering internet companies doing e-commerce. Ellis-Behnke is a member of the National Academy of Inventors and a life member of the International Society of Nanomedicine.
