Ashley Chiu is an experienced UX/HF researcher with expertise in user-centered design. With a solid research background and experience working in both B2B and B2C environments, she is well-versed in mixed-methods research, both qualitative and quantitative. Ashley has worked with a variety of products, from websites to medical devices, to make products safe, effective, enjoyable and easy to use. She believes that testing early and often is the key to making products that solve real-world problems using innovative technology.

Ashley has an educational background in Cognitive Science, Linguistics, and Human Development with degrees from the University of Rochester. She also studied Program Evaluation, which adds another layer of knowledge to her research expertise. An accomplished professional, she has held research positions at companies such as Bold Insight, Zebra Technologies, and GfK. Ashley also has experience as a teacher's assistant, part-time climbing instructor, and program coordinator in addition to her work in research.
