Qi Yang is a computer scientist and human-computer interaction (HCI) research scientist, known for their passion in exploring the intersection between creative expression, technology, and meaningful social impact. Yang received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and later completed their Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Michigan. Yang's research interest lies at the intersection of HCI, medical informatics, and natural language processing.

Yang has held a myriad of positions throughout their career, including Application Programmer Analyst at the University of Michigan Center for Health Communications Research, Research Assistant at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, Graduate Student Instructor and Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, and Research Assistant - Natural Language Processing at the University of Toronto. Currently, Yang works as an HCI Research Scientist at GN ReSound.
