Raghavendra (Raghu) Uppalli is an accomplished entrepreneur and product and engineering manager with over 10 years of experience in management and 17 years in developing commercial software with excellent customer satisfaction. Uppalli is highly data-driven and lean startup practitioner with proven experience taking ideas from conception to commercialization in both B2B and consumer industries. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from the SJCE College of Engineering, an MS in Computer Networking and Computer Security from North Carolina State University, and an additional BE in Computer Science from the University of Mysore.

Currently, Uppalli serves as a Senior Software Development Manager, Identity/Authentication at Amazon, where he is building a set of services that provide a consistent and unified user experience across the company. At Amazon, Uppalli focuses on solving nuanced and difficult User Experience issues at an immense scale. His proven track record and expertise in web design and Java have enabled him to identify, develop and lead highly-qualified candidates to success.

Prior to joining Amazon, Uppalli served as the VP of Engineering at Banihal and held a variety of leadership roles at Riverbed Technology, OPNET Technologies, Inc., RTI International, and MCNC. Throughout his career, he has gained expertise in identity and authentication, network topology inference, and software engineering.
