With over 17 years of experience in supply chain management, partner management, manufacturing strategy & operations, and team building, Sandeep Jayaram is a charismatic leader with a proven track record of driving complex, high-value supply chain strategies, enabling the confluence of vision and execution. He has deep and diverse supplier development and management experience in sourcing, negotiating contracts, driving and managing global commodity and contract manufacturing operations for a wide variety of electronic and infrastructure products.

Jayaram is a seasoned professional with expertise in architecting and delivering robust supply chain solutions to new strategic visions and growth areas. He has a repeated success record in this field. As an expert negotiator and communicator, he has forged solid relationships with strategic partners, and built consensus across multiple organizational levels.

Before joining Facebook in the role of Infrastructure Sourcing & Operations - Global Supply Chain, Jayaram served as Head of Supply Chain, Google Express, and Head of Strategic Supplier Management & New Technology Implementation at Google Access (an Alphabet Company). He has also worked in various other roles at Google, including Senior Global Supply Chain Manager - Data Center Fiber Optics & Interconnects, Global Supply Chain Manager - Infrastructure, and Global Account Manager - Flextronics. Before his tenure at Google, he held positions at Jabil and TVS Motor Company.

Jayaram obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. He later earned his Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Wayne State University.

Music is an essential part of Jayaram's life. He has played the violin since he was five years old and even held the coveted Indian National Violin Scholarship.
