Robert Shindell, Ph.D.

Robert Shindell is a dedicated educator and career services expert with more than two decades of experience in the field. He holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Texas Tech University and has studied training and development at Midwestern State University. Dr. Shindell is the Principal Investigator of the National Internship & Co-op Study and serves as President and CEO of Intern Bridge, Inc. He is nationally recognized as a top experiential education thought leader and has presented his Total Internship Management workshops to over 5,000 employer partners across the United States.

In addition to his work with Intern Bridge, Dr. Shindell is a Certified Facilitator & Leadership Coach for The Leadership Challenge, a Wiley Brand. He is also a former member of the Distinguished Scientists Advisory Board for the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education and has served as an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University, Concordia University Texas, and ITT Technical Institute. His expertise in leadership development, employer recruitment, and instructional design, among other things, make him a sought-after speaker and consultant in his field.
