Dan Melinger is a seasoned product leader with a diverse background in media production, mobile design, and entrepreneurship. He has managed product development in social media, ecommerce, video, gaming, education, and finance sectors. Dan's operational expertise, market intelligence, UX intuition, technical proficiency, and hiring skills make him a valuable addition to any company seeking to elevate customer experience. Dan worked at FanDuel as VP of Product, where he developed and marketed two new games, one in partnership with the NBA, to expand the company's reach and change the way people play fantasy sports. Dan also founded two successful startups: Socialight, a location-based social network that was acquired by Group Commerce, and Edco, a crowdfunding platform for public education initiatives. To prepare for his career, Dan attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts degree. He also studied Economics at University College London and pursued his master's degree in Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University.
