Marlee Henderson

Marlee Henderson is an accomplished education professional who has shown her expertise through various positions in education, community engagement, research, and management. She attended North Carolina A&T State University for her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and went on to earn her Master of Education in Community and Social Change at the University of Miami.

From there, she served in several organizations, starting as a Research Assistant for North Carolina A&T State University, a General Manager for NC A&T SU iLab, and an Executive Intern for North Carolina Freedom Monument Park. She then transitioned to Citizen Schools, first as a Civic Engagement Associate, then as a Regional Citizen Teacher Lead, and finally as a Civic Engagement Coordinator. After her time at Citizen Schools, she worked at PENCIL, Inc., as a Program Manager before moving on to JPMorgan Chase & Co.

During her time at JPMorgan Chase & Co., she first served as a Global Philanthropy Program Associate for Youth Development, where she developed and implemented programs for enhancing the lives of youth. As she transitioned into her current role as a Global Philanthropy Senior Associate - Youth Mentorship Program Manager, she began leading the development of community partnerships with schools, community-based organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to provide mentorship and support for young people.
