Michael Wiederoder is a research bioengineer with a diverse background in biosensors, nanotechnology, microfluidics, and graphene-based sensors. With a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland College Park, he has worked as a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow at the US Army Natick Soldier Research, Development, and Engineering Center, Bioengineering PhD Candidate and Vice President at the University of Maryland, and a Professorial Research Assistant at Michigan State University. Wiederoder's research interests are primarily focused on using innovative technologies to solve food and water safety issues for the Warfighter.
