Jack Shannon is an accomplished leader and entrepreneur who is making a name for himself in the events industry. He currently serves as CEO and Co-Founder at Recess, a platform that simplifies sponsorship for live events. With a BS in Finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, Jack had a wealth of experience even before founding Recess. He got his start as a Comdy Development Intern at Fox Broadcasting Company, followed by internships at MGM and Relativity Media. Jack also served as a Board Member at Operation Homelink and a Branch Manager at Rickshaw Media Corporation.

But it was Jack's work as Co-Founder of the Recess Music & Ideas Festival that shaped his career trajectory. He learned the ins and outs of events management and discovered a passion for finding innovative ways to connect brands with live audiences. Jack's diverse background in finance and media has given him a unique perspective on the events industry, and he is using that knowledge to disrupt the traditional sponsorship process.
