Rachel Bernier (Weissenburger) is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in economics, education, and communications. She holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Université Laval and has also pursued a course in Education from Stanford University.
Rachel's professional journey began as a Senior Economist at Statistics Canada before joining the Embassy of Canada as a Cultural Attaché. Later, she worked as a Consular Officer at the Consulate General of Canada in San Francisco and Boston. She has also been a Director of Marketing and Communications for Gosselin Law Firm and an Editor for the French American Chamber of Commerce New England.
Rachel has also served as Director of Communications and Marketing for the International School of Boston and a Manager of Mandated Reporting with the Esdc. In her most recent role, she was the Covid-19 Geo Lead for the Americas and a Mission Liaison Officer with Dfatd | Maecd.
Rachel is a multi-talented individual who has excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills. She is passionate about foreign relations, women empowerment, and education.
