Cspo® Utkarsh Wadhwa is a data enthusiast with a passion for using data analytics and machine learning tools to derive critical business insights from data. With a B.Tech degree in Information Technology from Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology and a PG diploma in Data Science from International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, Utkarsh has acquired both theoretical and practical knowledge in data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and business analytics.

After graduating, Utkarsh commenced his professional journey in Cognizant's Artificial Intelligence & Analytics (AIA) unit, where he was instrumental in implementing end-to-end Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions for a Fortune 500 trucking company. Later, he joined Indus Net Technologies as a Business Analyst/Product Owner, where he managed projects and implemented analytics that radically changed the company's strategy in delivering impactful services to key brands. Presently, he works for upGrad (ranked first on LinkedIn Top Startups) as a Data Scientist, where he combines his expertise in data analysis and machine learning to stimulate business growth and support teams by providing insights via business analytics.

Utkarsh's technical abilities span diverse areas, as he is proficient in tools and techniques like Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), Inferential Statistics, Regression techniques, Classification techniques, K-means, Hierarchical Clustering, and SQL. His competency also extends to cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), programming languages (Python, NumPy, Matplotlib, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, Statsmodels), and software tools (Anaconda, Jupyter Notebook, MS Office, and MySQL).

Besides, Utkarsh enjoys keeping himself busy even outside the workplace. As a student at Data Science from IIIT-B, he has remained one of the top performers with a CGPA of 4/4. He also exercises to maintain his physical fitness and loves spending his leisure time practicing data science problems. His broader interests include data analytics, business analytics, machine learning, business analysis, and artificial intelligence.
