Angie Ng

Angie Ng is a versatile professional with a background in psychology who has transitioned from events and marketing to insurance and then to banking with a focus on innovation.

With over 10 years of experience, Angie is a driven generalist and a certified human-centered design LUMA instructor, skilled in innovation management, experience design, marketing, and program management.

Currently, Angie holds the role of an innovation coach at SC Ventures at Standard Chartered Bank, where she drives intrapreneurship, incubates ideas, and advances solutions within the organization or as independent ventures, while also focusing on Fintech engagement for her team.

Prior to her current role, Angie was a founding member of the Innovation team at AIA Group, where she led projects such as OCR, chatbot, and DLT-backed loyalty reward systems, in addition to launching ecosystem programs like Hackathons, AIA Accelerator, AIA Emerging Entrepreneur Challenge, and the Blockchain Challenge.

Angie's educational background includes the TMS-IMD Innovation in Asia Program at IMD Business School, a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and additional studies in French language and literature.

In her leisure time, Angie enjoys introverted activities like reading books and watching documentaries.
