Nick Shearman, an award-winning Executive Producer, who has consistently created and commissioned hit programs for all the British terrestrial channels from docu-soap to travelogues, history programs to documentary formats, and factual features. Nick is currently heading Development for True To Nature Productions in Bristol after a stint as Creative Director at Wildflame Productions in Cardiff. Nick is a former Fulbright Scholar at Northwestern University, USA, and has a BA in Drama from The University of Manchester. Nick's experience spans RDF, Keo, Zeal, Tiger Aspect, and BBC Docs/Features in London and Bristol. Nick has excellent skills in nurturing and developing talent both on and off-camera, developing and driving strategies as part of a management team.

Nick has received nominations and won awards like BAFTA, Grierson, RTS, and MIPCom. Nick has given courses for the Indie Training Fund, written two reports for Creative Skillset/Creative Diversity Network on their Commissioner Program, served on Prix Italia, RTS, and Grierson Award juries. Nick is a BAFTA member and judge, and has taught on the Masters Documentary module at the University of West of England.
