Tony Blanchet is a knowledgeable Facilities Management and Project Management consultant with over two decades of experience in the industry. Having studied Diploma in Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology at Ara Institute of Canterbury, Tony's wealth of experience and technical skills includes project management, contract management, building design, site supervision, asset management, health and safety management, among others.
He has had the privilege of working with reputable organizations such as WSP, Opus International Consultants Limited, and, Harford Greenhouses, where he served in various positions at different times. He had also managed a project for the Christchurch City Council, where he led a team of internal and external specialists to ensure the delivery of engineering services to the Council.
During his tenure as a Senior Project Manager of the Church and Parish Earthquake Recovery Programme, he managed a team of specialists to ensure the successful delivery of the recovery programme. Tony has also served as a Building Advisor to ACC, where he liaised with clients, occupational therapists, and ACC case managers to provide building advice to case managers in Canterbury.
