Alan E. Waite is an accomplished executive, consultant, educator, journalist, and public speaker with decades of experience in project management, political science, history, and technology. He holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from California Lutheran University and an M.A. in Political Science/Modern European History from California State University-Sacramento.

Waite is the Executive Director of Phoenix Rising Foundation, a non-profit organization that empowers individuals and communities to overcome adversity and achieve their goals through education, inspiration, and action. Previously, he was the CEO of PRAXIS Consulting, Inc., a global consultancy that provided strategic planning, change management, and leadership development services to organizations in various industries.

Waite has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Project Management at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and as a founder of the Inspirational Humorous Speaker Project Management at National Leaders in Public & Private Sector Project Management Inspirational Speaking. He has published articles, essays, and reviews in various publications, including Dominion Journal, FOCL, and his blog.

Waite has a strong background in technology, as evidenced by his role as co-founder and Chairman of the Board of NVS Technologies, Inc., a company that developed and marketed multimedia communication solutions. He also worked as a Legislative and Governmental Program Manager/Business Analyst at the Office of the State Controller.

Throughout his career, Waite has demonstrated his expertise in leadership, mentoring, relationship building, community engagement, conflict resolution, and creative problem-solving.
