Melvin Frausto has a diverse background in public service with years of experience in law enforcement, fire services, and emergency medical response. He is a highly-educated individual who has completed various certifications and degrees such as Certification in Homeland Security, Associate's degree in General Studies, and Associates in Fire Services Administration. Moreover, he has studied Emergency Medical Technology/Technician and holds state certifications in Fire Science/Fire-fighting.
Prior to his work in law enforcement, Melvin worked as a Loss Prevention and Inventory Specialist at Best Buy. He then moved on to pursue his passion for public service and served as a Firefighter/EMT at Blue Island and Posen Fire Deparment before taking on the role of a Medical Response Officer at Whelan Security and Securitas. Additionally, he has worked as an Access Control at Uptake where he provided security and access control services.
Currently, Melvin serves as a Patrolman at the Chicago Heights Police Department where he upholds the law and protects the community. He has a great deal of experience working with people in emergencies and has demonstrated exceptional skills in managing crises. Melvin is highly regarded in his field and is a valuable asset to any team.
