Rafael Beyar

Renowned cardiologist and former Director of Rambam Health Care Campus, Professor Rafael Beyar, has an impressive background in medicine and biomedical engineering. He holds an MD from Tel Aviv University, a DSc in Biomedical Engineering from the Technion, and an MPH from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. With clinical training at both Rambam and Johns Hopkins Cardiology, Professor Beyar is a leading expert in cardiovascular imaging, computer modeling, stents, and cardiovascular robotics. He is the founder of Instent, Corindus, and Rambam MedTech, and the MindUp Incubator. Professor Beyar has served as President of the International Friends Associations of Rambam and as General Partner at Alive Health Care Fund. He currently serves on the board of Rambam MedTech and other notable organizations.
