Brian Meade is a highly skilled aerospace professional who has worked in various roles in the industry. Over the course of his career, he has tested rocket engines, launched the Space Shuttle, operated spacecraft in low earth orbit, and helped define astronaut operations for a future US-launched crew capsule to the International Space Station. In addition, he has also produced and worked as an assistant director on award-winning short films and episodes of a web series and has jumped fully into writing.

Meade studied Aeronautics and Astronautics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Systems Engineering at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and Business Administration at Florida Institute of Technology. He has also studied Information Systems and Technology Management at The George Washington University.

He has worked in various organizations, including SpaceX, NASA, FAA Office of Commercial Space Transportation (AST), and Booz Allen Hamilton, where he is currently serving as Lead Systems Engineer. His expertise spans across system engineering, space operations, propulsion, media relations, and writing.
