Darcie Luce
Darcie Luce is an accomplished environmental planner, researcher, and outreach specialist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from the University of Maryland College Park and a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Religion from Wesleyan University.
With extensive experience in water policy, land stewardship, and watershed management, Darcie has worked with various organizations to promote sustainable practices and protect the local environment. She has served as an Independent Contractor and Water Policy Specialist at the Friends of the San Francisco Estuary, as well as an Assistant Director at the California Land Stewardship Institute.
Darcie's research interests include the cultural dimensions of environmental management, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative decision-making processes. As a former member of the Bay Area Association of Practicing Anthropologists (BAAPA), she has contributed to various publications and presentations on these topics.
Currently, Darcie serves as an Environmental Planner at the San Francisco Estuary Partnership, where she supports projects that address habitat restoration, water quality, and climate change adaptation in the region. She also previously worked at the East Bay Watershed Center as an Outreach Program Coordinator and Research Associate.
