Joanne Yuan is an accomplished investor with experience in private equity and corporate development. She attended the prestigious Stanford Graduate School of Business where she earned her MBA and previously studied Finance during her undergraduate at University of Pennsylvania’s School of Finance. As a Principal and Co-Head of Investment Team at Turn/River Capital, Joanne focuses on investing in Software as a Service (SaaS). Prior to joining Turn/River Capital, Joanne was deal lead for Corporate Development at Google and an Associate Partner at Cowboy Ventures.

In addition, Joanne also has hands-on experience in startups, having been a founding team member at Kindred Prints which was later acquired by Strategic. Her experience in the investment banking industry, particularly in the investment mergers and acquisitions group at Morgan Stanley and as a private equity associate at Hellman & Friedman, contributed to her expertise when it comes to identifying the best investment opportunities.

Apart from her achievements in the finance industry, Joanne is also known for her interests outside work. She loves running and enjoys cooking as well as defending her home state of New Jersey.
