Francois Petitjean
Francois Petitjean is a well-accomplished data miner and scientist, specializing in statistical inference and prediction from big data. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Strasbourg. Francois has also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Université de Franche-Comté.
Previously, Francois has held several positions in different organizations, including his current role as Data Scientist at the Australian Taxation Office. Before this, he was a Senior Research Fellow at Monash University, where he worked on data mining, machine learning, and pattern recognition. Prior to that, he also held roles as a Teaching Assistant at Université de Strasbourg and a Visiting Researcher at CesBIO. Francois has extensive expertise in programming and analyzing data ranging from his work as a PHD researcher at CNES to his time as a Programmer/Analyst at IRISS Ressources Humaines.
