Barbara Remedios is a highly experienced and versatile professional with a broad range of skills gained from working in both large and small organizations. She has a Master's degree in Conservation of Historic Buildings from the University of Bath and a BA from the University of California, Davis, where she studied English. Barbara has worked in various roles, including project management, event coordination, non-profit fundraising and management, office and facilities management and organization, process improvement, and volunteer recruitment and management. She has experience working in diverse fields ranging from education, heritage conservation, and non-profits to logistics, product management, and finance.

Barbara's expertise in project management, organizational development, fundraising, and volunteer management has been honed through her work at Balkan Heritage Field School and USC Pacific Asia Museum. As a Consultant and Program Associate at Asia Society Southern California, she developed programs, provided project management, and managed partnerships between Asia Society and Southern California corporations, foundations, and individuals. Barbara has also managed large-scale events such as CHINAWEEK, where she was responsible for operations and logistics coordination.

Barbara's work experience has also included a focus on office administration, facility and equipment management. As an Office Administrator at Hershey Cause Communications, Barbara implemented improvements to administrative systems and processes to increase organizational efficiency, while as Equipment Control Manager for Maersk Pacific Ltd., she oversaw the handling of equipment and container inventory.
