Aristides Nakos is a chemical engineer and activist with a passion for sustainability and the environment. With experience ranging from STEM education to HVAC technical sales, Nakos has dedicated his career to promoting environmental, social, and economic justice in all aspects of engineering and beyond. He co-founded the Mediterranean Sustainability Coalition, working with fellow scientists to make a difference in the Mediterranean region. Nakos currently works as a Process Engineer II at Impossible Foods, where he uses his expertise in bioprocesses to design and implement sustainable manufacturing processes. He is an expert in TFF, centrifugation, and pasteurization, and has a thorough knowledge of OSHA, FDA, HAZOP, and cGMP regulations. Nakos is also a fluent speaker of multiple languages and a skilled programmer in Python.
