Arlene Ford is a renowned education change agent and thought leader. With a Ph.D. in Urban Schooling from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Harvard Law School, she has profound knowledge and expertise in education equity and inclusion. Her current focus is on supporting educators and organizations in achieving long-term transformational change by building their capacity around equity and inclusion. Dr. Ford is the founder and former CEO of the Equity Inquiry Project (EquIP), an organization that supports the development of critical thinking and consciousness around systemic issues in urban education. Dr. Ford is also an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University and a professional development coach for educators. She has spoken to many institutions about equity, inclusion, and diversity.
