Carlos Vieira is an experienced and qualified urban and master planner who is internationally recognized for his work in planning, designing, and supervising numerous projects in different countries such as the Middle East, South America, Africa, Portugal, and the Netherlands. Carlos is known for his skills in all master plan project stages, detailed urban design, and typology and guideline development. He started his career in Lisbon and later moved to Abu Dhabi to lead the design of numerous master planning projects across the GCC.

Carlos studied City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at Politecnico di Milano, and Architect, Arquitectura de Gestão Urbanística at Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. He is currently a Senior Manager - Master Planning at Modon Properties, and his previous roles include Lead- Urban Planning and Design at GHD and Associate Director, Associate, Architect, and Urban Planner at Broadway Malyan.

In addition to his professional work, Carlos has interests in artisanal candy-making and visual arts. He worked as an Artisanal Candy Maker at Papabubble Portugal and as a Visual Artist at Carlos Vieira Visual Arts. He also worked as a Volleyball Coach at FAUTL.
