Jamil Akhtar is a finance professional with over 15 years of experience in financial research and advisory, working capital finance, debt advisory, valuation, pitch book, and financial modeling. He is the founder and CEO of Quikkloan, a digital loan marketplace that uses credit scoring analytics. Akhtar has an MBA in finance and has raised working capital finance for commodities trading and manufacturing companies based out of the UAE, and arranged project financing for oil trading companies based out of DMCC. He has also been involved in the valuation of US-based quick service, fine dining, and casual dining restaurants under the consumer and retail industry.

Akhtar has prepared multiple documents, including strategic investment presentations, market research, board meeting packages, and business plans for startups. He holds a Master's degree in Business/Commerce, General from Annamalai University, a Bachelor of Commerce in Business/Commerce, General from Delhi University, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from IILM.

For seven years, Akhtar served as the Director of Financial Advisory- Dubai, and he has worked as a senior consultant at Eminence Capital Partners LLP before that. He has also been a manager in finance, consumer, and retail at WNS Global Services, an assistant manager in valuation and consumer and retail, strategic advisory group at Genpact, a senior associate in company research and valuation at Infosys BPM, and a senior analyst for valuation and investment banking at Copal Research India Private Limited (Copal Partners).
