He completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Rutgers University before going on to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Vitarana has a wealth of experience in both software development and engineering. He has worked as a Software Consultant at Groupon, a Senior Software Engineer at Orbitz Worldwide and Motorola Solutions, and as an IOS Developer at Ted Conferences. He also owned and operated his own firm, Crimsonjet, which specialized in software development.

Currently, Vitarana is the Head of Engineering at Trustory, where he continues to make strides in software development and engineering. His expertise and skills in the industry make him a valuable member of any team.
