With a solid background in Organizational Behavior and Technology, he has expertise in managing complexity, negotiating multi-stakeholder processes, and user-centric product and service development. Mr. Toomey built activated communities and networks to foster innovation and sustainability throughout his career. As Chief of Strategic Comms and Intelligence Solutions at the UN Development Programme, he developed breakthrough community-driven methodologies and services, including the largest global citizen survey in history (MY World) and the UN Virtual Reality advocacy program. His unique personal network combines broad relationships across the UN with innovators, communicators, and entrepreneurs from across the globe. He is a strong public speaker with deep expertise in global sustainability affairs and emerging markets, digital systems architecture, and business development.
