Sara Peterson is an accomplished biomedical engineer with a strong passion for innovative research and collaboration. She completed both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at prestigious universities, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and University of California San Diego, respectively. With experience in various technological areas, ranging from microfluidics to ceramic additive manufacturing, Sara has honed her skills in ceramic testing and characterization, chemical synthesis of imaging contrast agents, and multiplexed fluorescent imaging. Her past experience includes serving as an Edison Engineer at GE Global Research, R&D Engineer at Tempo Therapeutics, and Process Engineer at Sun Genomics. While working as an undergraduate at Virginia Tech, she conducted research and gained experience as a Machinist on the Robotics Team 1717 at FIRST.
