Vasiliy Gorbachev is an experienced and dedicated TOK and academic skills teacher who has made a significant impact on his students' learning and growth. With a focus on developing thinking skills and creativity, he uses a communicative approach in language education to co-construct knowledge with his students. Mr. Gorbachev is an expert in blended teaching and learning techniques in course delivery, including classroom and online components. With extensive experience in preparing students for IELTS, TOEFL, PSAT, and PTE General, he is also a co-author of the course "English for Academics" Books 1 and 2 in partnership with the British Council and Cambridge University Press.

Mr. Gorbachev's education includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education in the USA at Moscow State University of Humanities named after M.A. Sholokhov, a Master of Arts (MA) in English Language and World History at Ryazan State Pedagogical University, and a Certificate in ELA and American Studies at the Institute for Training and Development in MA, USA. He has obtained CPD certificates in the USA, UK, Ireland, and Russia, demonstrating his commitment to continual professional development.

Throughout his career, Mr. Gorbachev has worked with numerous organizations, including Adriatic College, where he is currently a TOK and academic skills teacher focusing on reading, writing, and discussion. He has also worked as a consulting expert and English teacher at Школа Летово / Letovo School, lead English support tutor at British Higher School of Art and Design, head teacher of English at Private language school "General Linguistic," and English coach and instructor at freelance in-company English coach and private tutor. He has also served as an assistant professor of English at the Geography Department at Moscow State University and as a teacher of English Language at Ryazan State Pedagogical University's Department of History, English, and International Relations.
