Dustin Wax is a cultural anthropologist, museum professional, and writer with extensive experience in teaching, editing, and marketing. He holds an MA and ABD in Cultural Anthropology from The New School, a BA in Anthropology from University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

Dustin's research interests and expertise span across disciplines, with a particular focus on burlesque, gender roles, sexual identity, Native American cultures, Cold War history, and the representation of culture and identity in museums and media. He is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Burlesque Hall of Fame and is a board member of the Nevada Museums Association. He is also a part-time professor of anthropology at the College of Southern Nevada.

Besides his academic background, Dustin is a prolific freelance writer, covering business, technology, security, and modern culture.
