Reza Miri is an experienced lecturer and researcher with a background in materials engineering, metallurgical engineering, and mechanical engineering. He completed his Masters at the University of Waterloo and RWTH Aachen University, and his Bachelor's degree at the University of Tehran. With industrial experience at materials-related production companies, Miri brings a practical perspective to his teaching, which has been recognized by Mechanical and Mechatronic Department's students in all eight previous teaching semesters. He is a sessional-load faculty member at Georgian College and has previously taught at Sheridan College, Seneca College, and Conestoga College. In addition to his teaching experience, Miri has researched at the PhD and Master's level, as well as in industry, for companies including Novelis Co., ArcelorMittal, and Piston Iran Co.
