Katherine Zamsky is a seasoned investor with 17 years of experience spanning venture capital, private equity, hedge fund, and real estate investments. Her passion for technology, environment, and art has led her to co-found an impact venture fund investing in industrial technologies reducing emissions, and to launch and advise GreenPoint, a growth equity sustainability fund optimizing real assets. Her background includes managing FOF portfolio allocations at AIG, building a $70 billion-dollar alternative investment platform and its fintech at Merrill, being a board member at premier funds, and developing a national real estate portfolio at a family office and deploying eco-friendly property improvements. Katherine holds an MBA from Columbia University and is a guest lecturer/advisor to several accelerators and startups. She is also a senior advisor at GreenPoint Partners and Formerly Advisor at Kaizen Aerospace, mentor at Founder Institute, and managing partner at Carbon Ventures, among other roles. Katherine has spoken and moderated events and judged competitions at several industry-related organizations, such as Rice Alliance, Plug and Play, and NY Venture summit, among others.
