Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated extensive expertise in the implementation of high technology, budgetary management, process improvement, and project management, making him a resourceful management professional comfortable working with both engineers and top management. Jim's career journey spans across some of the leading technology companies such as Fiserv, First Data Corporation, AOL, Microsoft, MCI/Worldcom, Masergy, BBO/Zephion, and UUNET, where he held senior positions. In his most recent roles of SVP, Cloud and Datacenter at Fiserv and SVP, Cloud Center of Excellence at First Data Corporation, Jim built and led high-performing teams responsible for the deployment and operations of networks, data centers, and cloud computing services. As Vice President, Infrastructure Operations at AOL, he managed the teams responsible for email and instant messaging delivered to millions of AOL customers, as well as the operation and maintenance of AOL's content distribution network. While at Microsoft, as Director, Azure Edge Compute Operations, he led the teams that deployed and operated Microsoft's Azure Edge data centers worldwide.

Jim holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from George Washington University and a Master's degree in Telecommunications from Southern Methodist University. He specializes in network deployment, operations, capacity planning, cloud computing, content distribution, data center management, service management, managed services, mentoring and training employees, vendor negotiations, network negotiations, re-engineering, and process improvement.
