Wolfgang Ortloff is an environmental management expert who has worked in various fields, from forestry sciences to emissions and asset management. He obtained a degree in forestry sciences at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau, and then furthered his studies with a diploma thesis in fire history/dendrochronology of Ponderosa Pine forests in southern Arizona, USA, and a Master's degree in Environmental Management at the European Association of Environmental Management Education (EAEME).
Throughout his career, Ortloff has held various high-ranking positions in different organizations, including Director of Environmental Asset Management at Equator LLC and VP Emissions at Swiss Re. He was also a Board Member at Portland Alternative Investment Association and a Member of the AFOLU Steering Committee of the VCS at Verified Carbon Standard. In addition, he co-owned Worden Hill Farm, LLC, and currently serves as the Principal at Worden Hill Capital, LLC.
