David Ligon
David Ligon boasts a diverse background in the arts and advertising industry. He began his journey studying high school ballet at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and went on to obtain a liberal arts degree at the University of South Carolina. David also earned a Bachelor's degree in Advertising, a Master's degree in Art Direction at the VCU Brandcenter, and studied account planning at Miami Ad School Atlanta @ Portfolio Center.
David has held various positions, including freelance strategist at DiMassimo Goldstein and creative director at the University of South Carolina, where he spearheaded a successful American Advertising Federation National Student Advertising Competition. He's also worked as an art director at MullenLowe U.S. and DDB, founding member and art director of The Carriage House, and currently, he serves as an art director at ACE Content.
David is a skilled dancer and has worked as a ballet instructor, rehearsal assistant, choreographer, and dancer, a background that imbued in him an eye for details, creativity and discipline needed to thrive in the advertising industry.
