Kelly Pedro is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience writing about the tech sector, education, health, livable cities, personal and business profiles. She is a Post-graduate certificate holder in Creative Writing from Humber College, a Master of Arts in Communication from Mount Saint Vincent University, and an Honours B.A. in English and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from York University.
Kelly is a passionate writer who believes in putting the user at the center of any design, which she believes makes everything work better for everyone. She writes insightful pieces that tell amazing stories and share important industry knowledge. Some of the publications she has contributed to include The London Free Press, The Toronto Sun, The Toronto Star, Today's Parent magazine, Grand Magazine, and CBC.
In addition to being a writer, Kelly is also a part-time journalism instructor at the university level, and she specializes in teaching students how to tell engaging and informative stories. She is a former news editor at Excalibur Publications Inc., a former part-time reporter at Toronto Star, and a former multimedia journalist at The London Free Press.
