Director of eCommerce at Crowd Media

My role is to manage the company's B2C eCommerce operations, setting up the marketing strategies for efficient business planning. Objectives; lower acquisition costs, improve conversion rates, increase LTV and scale up the brands in EU.

-  Sitting in the Management Team, with P&L responsibility. Leading the entire eCommerce function (new division) with a 389% increase in sales in the 2nd Semester of 2020 and a 856% increase in Q1-21 from Q1-20.
-  Launched 4 new eCommerce platforms (Shopify & WooCommerce) and Amazon marketplace for a variety of brands.
-  Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with main partners and for selecting and merchandising a range of products to sell on eCommerce sites directly with brands and/or suppliers.
-  In the 1st year, Crowd Media became the exclusive distributor in Europe of 4 major brands: I AM KAMU (watches and accessories), London Labs (skincare for hair), KINN Living (cleaning products) and MD Complete (cosmetics).

Director of eCommerce

My role was to manage the mobile division, leading a multicultural team of 30+ people. Optimized structures and processes to maximize revenue and continue the successful scaleup of the business while restructuring the division from a single product business to a Performance Marketing agency, working on behalf of clients such as; Apple Music, N26 and ESPN+.

-  Member of the Management team with full P&L accountability for revenue of $20m yearly, marketing budgets of $8m and EBITDA $5m.
-  Managing the strategy, implementation, and performance of paid social accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Snapchat and Google. Also launched TikTok advertising and increased new customers by 21%.
-  Designing and implementing a process allowing for 200+ influencer campaigns to be run a month across 20+ markets.
-  Maximizing Gross Profit Margins by taking strategic decisions geared towards effective expense minimization and process automation.

Performance Marketing Director

- Over 2.2 million new customers acquired in 2017 through Social Media and Influencer Marketing. Expense control over marketing budget of $6.1m, culminating in record revenue of $26.64 million.
-  Lead the B2C multichannel marketing strategy in 25+ markets. Influencer marketing (by far, the most successful channel, averaging 300% campaigns ROI, Facebook and Instagram as the main acquisition channels. In 2018, integrated YouTube and Snapchat, increasing revenue by 28%. Crowd Media became an official Snapchat Partner.
-  Hiring manager for more than 30 new hires between 2017 and 2018.
-  Launched the internal entertainment products in LATAM IN 2017. Mexico became the top 5 revenue market in less than a year.
-  Launched 5 Geordie Toons Apps in collaboration with MTV. Within the 1st week, the Apps became #1 download in 10+ markets.

Digital Marketing Manager

An active member of the marketing team that helped the company achieved an increase in the revenue of 150% within less than 2 years.

-  Launched our mobile products in 20 new markets within a year (mainly Europe).
-  Online & offline marketing strategies for our mobile products. Responsible for global marketing efforts across 35+ international markets.
-  1st influencer marketing campaign launched in the company (2015). Influencer marketing became essential in the marketing strategy and for the company growth.
-  Snapchat takeover through the Mish Guru platform using influencers. This was the key to the company's success.

Digital Marketing Coordinator

- Proposals for potential clients focused on SEO, SEM and/or paid social advertising.
-  Strategy development for clients such as Mondev, Stone Rose & CrownRing.
-  Technical website audits using Google Analytics & Google Webmaster tools.
-  Micro-influencers outreach.
-  Community Management for the clients’ social media channels including editorial calendar, content creation and campaigns management.

Digital Marketing Intern

Worked at Customer Services providing front line service. Duties included helping in different sections, advising customers, taking orders, responding to enquiries, using the till and handling payments and cash accurately. Working as part of a team and coming up with new ideas to solve problems was essential, as well as providing excellent customer service, always greeting customers with a smile and going the extra mile to help them.
