John Shermer is an accomplished Chief Marketing Officer with an impressive 20 years of experience building and mentoring high-performance marketing and sales teams. He has a proven track record of producing outstanding results in the nonprofit, broadcast, pharmaceutical, and financial industries. John studied at Humboldt State University where he received both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Fine Arts. He began his career as a Local Marketing Manager at KIEM-TV before moving up to Senior Marketing Manager at GlaxoSmithKline. He then became the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Premier Financial Group before accepting the role of Chief Marketing Officer at The Couples Institute. John also served as the Marketing and Sales Manager at the Sinclair Broadcast Group before becoming CEO of Kaårv Nonprofit Marketing. Currently, John is a Marketing Consultant and a member of the Board of Directors at Eureka Symphony.
