Michelle Silverthorn is the Founder and CEO of Inclusion Nation, an organization that focuses on diversity and inclusion across all industries. A graduate of Princeton University and the University of Michigan Law School, Michelle developed her expertise in diversity and education while working for the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism. She is a recognized speaker and writer on the topics of implicit bias, diversity, and inclusion, in addition to millennials in the workplace. Michelle is also a TEDx speaker and author of the forthcoming book, Change the Rules. Change the World: How to Recruit, Train and Lead a Diverse Workforce. She has worked previously as an arts and entertainment journalist in Trinidad and Tobago, a legal researcher in Peru and Switzerland, and a volunteer teacher in Botswana and Kazakhstan. Michelle brings a unique voice and perspective to the field of diversity and inclusion, rooted in her experience growing up in the Caribbean and living in Chicago with her family.
