Brian McGaw, a multimedia artist and technologist, has an impressive background in interactive media design, music, and video production. He founded Occurrent Arts in 2011 to develop projects that engage and entertain through innovative technology. He specializes in interaction design, rapid prototyping, technical design, and audio production, including music composition and sound design.

Brian studied Fine Arts and Computer Science at the University of Georgia before beginning his career in technology. He has worked with prestigious organizations such as Frog Design, Sapient, and Yahoo! in various roles like Junior Technologist, Interactive Developer, and QA Technician. Brian has also worked with Universal Music Group as the Director of Southeast College Radio Promotions.

As the Director and Artist at Occurrent Arts, Brian develops experiential and interactive media for public education and entertainment using techniques like code-driven art and design and 2D/3D graphics programming. He is proficient in several programming languages, including Java, C++, Objective-C/Swift, JavaScript, Max-MSP, PHP, Python, and C#. Brian's preferred software and platforms include Unity, OpenFrameworks, Processing, WordPress, Photoshop, and Logic.

In addition to his role at Occurrent Arts, Brian is also a Sound Designer and Music Producer at Amanamun. His favorite frameworks and platforms include AWS, Ableton, Premiere, AfterEffects, Octane, and Cinema4D.
