Rak Razam is an accomplished Australian alchemical storyteller, documentary filmmaker, journalist, author, and culture surfer with his finger on the pulse of tomorrow and the heart of today. He is an expert in the shamanic revival sweeping the West and has written several acclaimed books, among them Aya Awakenings: A Shamanic Odyssey, The Ayahuasca Sessions, and Aya: Awakenings. Rak is also the writer, producer and co-director of the groundbreaking documentary "Aya: Awakenings" and the "Shamans of the Global Village" series.
Rak is a frequent lecturer on psychedelics and spirituality, an experienced ayahuasca retreat facilitator, and an adviser to entrepreneurs and consciousness leaders. Through his work, Rak aims to shed light on the new cultural paradigm birthing in this brave new world.
In addition to his creative pursuits, Rak has a Bachelor’s degree in English from Monash University and has worked as a writer, producer, and editor at various organizations such as Reset.Me, RGB Media, and Terra Incognita. He has also held positions as a Copywriter at Fosters Australia Pty Ltd and Sensis, among others. He is known for his dynamic speaking engagements and has been called one of the “leading spokespersons for the new paradigm.”
