Chris Ball is a well-traveled entrepreneur with a keen mind for business strategy and a passion for making a positive impact. He studied Commerce with a double major in Finance and International Business, as well as a minor in Commercial Law at Flinders University. His professional journey began in corporate real estate in Sydney. However, after realizing that he sought more from his work than just making a profit, he embarked on a year-long adventure that led him on a bicycle ride from London to Istanbul, kayaking the length of the Dead Sea, and appearing on Stephen Colbert's show wearing a kangaroo suit. Chris's experience in entrepreneurship began after his hiatus when he started his own travel tech startup. From there, he went on to help found accelerators to aid entrepreneurs in developing countries to alleviate poverty. Throughout his career, Chris has excelled in strategic sales, business development, partnerships, tackling big challenges with technology, and creating value through innovation. His personal interests include adventure, entrepreneurship, and mindfulness. Chris has experience working across five different industries and has worked at several organizations, including Destination Think, Spark* International Incorporated, Stockland PropTech Accelerator, BlueChilli Group, AdventureHoney, Tyro Payments, Colliers International, and Foxtel.
