Sydney Gibson is a brilliant young scholar who is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. She has a passion for the formal verification of computer systems and is dedicated to developing more efficient and effective methods for doing so. Ms. Gibson has already achieved a great deal in her academic career, having studied at the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon and earning her Master of Engineering in Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She also earned her Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as well as Mathematics at MIT. Ms. Gibson has worked for some of the top tech companies in the world including Google, Microsoft, and VMware, where she worked as a software engineer. She has also conducted research at several prestigious institutions including the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), the MIT Media Lab, and the Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies.
